Light The Night Walk: Taking Steps Towards Cures PDF Print E-mail

(from Cheryl Bentley, wife of Principal Jerry Bentley)

Some of you may know that in 2006 I was diagnosed with non-hodgkins lymphoma.  I am very lucky.  It is a type that is very slow growing .  Research is continually coming up with new treatments.  Hopefully, they will find a cure.   That is why our office got involved with LLS and decided to participate in the national "l Light the Night Walk".

I'm raising money for this very important cause:  finding better treatments and cures for blood cancers so patients can live better, longer lives through The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Light The Night Walk. I'm asking you to help by making a contribution!  Please use the link in this email to donate online quickly & securely.  You will receive an email confirmation of your donation as soon as it is made. I thank you in advance for your support which will make a difference in the lives of thousands of patients battling blood cancers.

I really appreciate your generosity!!

GRASP

PARENTS – are you looking for some math or language arts material for your child to work on during the summer?  Or could your student benefit from some review work on certain skills that he or she learned this school year?  If that is the case, remember GRASP, the 9 week reading and math summer program that GRPS teachers developed for students in grades K - 8.
All elementary students received an enrollment form in March.  If you have students that missed this enrollment their parents may enroll in person. Tell your parents we are having OPEN ENROLLMENT in our office, located at Shawmut School, Room 105.
The dates and times are June 2, 3, and 4 between 8:00 and 3:30.  Our phone number is 819-2548.

Thank you.
