Uh,……. Lisa was the wonderful parent helper who copied and distributed our monthly school newsletter. She leaves an opening for one or two adults who can get those copies into the hands of our families each month. Would that be YOU? This is daytime volunteer task. Lisa says it takes 2-3 hours one day each month, including copying, stapling, and distribution to mailboxes and classrooms. She usually did this in the morning after am drop-off (but not required) and often hand delivered to the Children’s House in the morning so that the morning students get theirs to take home that day also. Teachers for the other grades usually check their mailboxes at noon and will pick up their sets for their students for that afternoon backpack mail. A team of 2 parents could trade months or work together to make fast and fun work of it, or one person could do it in 2-3 hours one day per month. This volunteer job goes a long way in building our school community, especially for those parents who don’t get into the buildings much. If you can help, please hit ‘reply’ to this e-mail. OR if you know someone who doesn’t use e-mail, this is a good job they could do that would also help them as well as other non-computer families stay in’-the-know! Please pass the word along!
